You can choose from fifteen-or-so lowland and mountainside MTB trails around Puy de Dôme. These clearly waymarked routes are your passport to discovering the unspoilt countryside all around you!
Prenez le départ de cette randonnée qui regorge de mille découvertes. Depuis le manoir de Veygoux, ancienne demeure du Général Desaix, arpentez les puys et les nombreux villages en quête de point de vue sur les volcans.
Faites un bond au 18ème siècle ! Situé à l'entrée du Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, le Manoir de Veygoux vous embarque à la découverte de la fin du 18ème siècle en Auvergne. C’est un réel voyage au cœur de l’Histoire qui vous attend ! À travers ses espaces immersifs, le Manoir de Veygoux vous fait revivre la période révolutionnaire en Auvergne, de façon ludique et interactive, dans l'esprit d'un parc à thème.
Au programme : Des visites en costume d'époque, spectacles de scénovisions, animations numériques, films et expositions vous transportent à la fin du 18ème siècle.
Pour les enfants, des activités ludiques et pédagogiques sont proposées tous les jours d'ouverture : jeux de pistes, chasse au trésor, jeu d'enquête et atelier masque.
EN JUILLET/AOÛT, des visites guidées animées et des spectacles théâtralisés sont également à découvrir.
Saison 2024 : spectacle théâtralisé "Carmagnole et redingote", une comédie loufoque pour toute la famille, les jeudis du 18 juillet au 22 août à 15h.
Et pendant toute la saison d'ouverture, des événements pour petits et grands sont également au rendez-vous : spectacle de marionnettes, animations du 14 juillet, spectacle de feu et pyrotechnie... tout est réuni pour passer un moment agréable et divertissant en famille.
À la fin de votre visite, faites une pause à l'espace restauration le "Comptoir Desaix" et dégustez les spécialités auvergnates : charcuteries, aligot, fondue de Saint-Nectaire, fromages, muffin myrtille, pavé framboise... et faites une halte à la boutique, pour en apprendre plus sur le 18ème siècle, Marie-Antoinette, Napoléon Bonaparte... et pour garder un souvenir de votre visite.
Visite simple : de 1h30 à 2 heures avec un départ toutes les 10 minutes. Dernier départ 1h30 avant la fermeture.

Taking on the volcano trails
