Authorised tourist offices, under the terms of the law of 13 July 1992, amended by law no. 2009-888 of 22 July 2009, can book and sell all types of leisure and hospitality services and products of general interest in their area of operation. They make it easier for the public to get around by offering a choice of services.

Article 1: Application of the general terms and conditions of sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all orders for services placed on the Terra Volcana website www.terravolcana.com via the open ticket interface, published by Alliance Réseaux. Terra Volcana reserves the right to adapt or modify them at any time. In this case, the GTC in force on the day of the order will apply.
These GCS can be consulted on the Terra Volcana website.
The purchaser acknowledges that he/she has read these GTC prior to validating his/her order. Any validation of the order implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions without exception. Consequently, the purchaser declares and acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of them and waives the right to invoke any other document.
Article 2: Contractual documents
Terra Volcana Tourist Office is the sole interlocutor of the customer and is answerable to the customer for the performance of the obligations arising from these conditions of sale. The Terra Volcana Tourist Office cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from force majeure or from the actions of any third party involved in the organisation or running of the visit or the services provided on this occasion.
In accordance with article L. 121-21- 8 12° of the French Consumer Code, the services sold are not subject to a right of withdrawal.
Article 3: Items for sale
The services offered for sale on the Terra Volcana Tourist Office website are :
- Ticket(s) for activities and visits organised by the Terra Volcana Tourist Office
- The Terra Volcana Destination Pass
3.1 Period of validity of the services offered
Each ticket is valid only for the date indicated on it, for a single use.
No ticket for which payment has been received may be exchanged for another date or refunded, except and solely in the event of cancellation of the service by the Tourist Office due to exceptional circumstances.
The three-day Pass and the long-term Pass (1 month) are sold from April to the end of the All Saints’ Day holidays.
Consequently, the 3-day Pass may be accepted at a Pass partner site up to three days after the end of the sale of the Pass at the beginning of November. Long-term passes valid for one month will be accepted until the beginning of December at partners open during this period.
Article 4: Pricing terms and order confirmation
The prices of products sold via the Terra Volcana website are indicated in euros and include all taxes.
The Terra Volcana Tourist Office is only bound by the ticket order on receipt of the e-mail confirming that the order has been validated. This email acknowledges receipt of the order and contains the ticket as a PDF file.
Services purchased on the Terra Volcana Tourist Office website are paid for solely by bank card compatible with the operator’s secure payment site.
The information provided by the purchaser when entering his/her bank details is encrypted by the operator in charge of transactions.
Under no circumstances and at no time do credit card details pass through the network or the Terra Volcana Tourist Office server.
Article 5: Deadline and online pass purchase
No delivery of products is offered. Purchasing a Terra Volcana Pass online gives access to the dematerialised version of a Pass. Once the purchase has been made, the purchaser will receive their dematerialised Pass in the form of a QR code by email.
Other tickets sold will be sent by email to the purchaser in the form of an electronic ticket in PDF format attached to the confirmation email.
Article 6: Ordering and validation
How to buy a ticket online
- On the www.terravolcana.com website, select “Book” and you will be directed to the online ticketing service.
- If applicable, select the date of your visit using the calendar displayed on the site. For each date clicked, the availability per date will be indicated. When a slot is no longer available, it will be displayed as fully booked. It is the visitor’s responsibility to check the departure times of the tours before coming.
- Choose the number of tickets you require per price from the drop-down menu, then click on “Add to basket”.
- Confirm your order by clicking on “Place my order”. A summary of your order will appear before you confirm your purchase, with a request to fill in the “contact details” form. Click on “validate my details”. It is possible to modify the order if it does not suit you.
- Accept the terms and conditions by ticking “I have read and accept the terms and conditions”, then click on “Proceed to payment”.
- The PAYFIP payment platform, the total to be paid and the name of the beneficiary are displayed. To pay for your purchase, you will be asked for The surname and first name of the “cardholder”, the “card number”, the “expiry date” and the “card verification code” (cryptogram on the back of the card).
- Once you have entered all the information, click on “Yes, I confirm my payment”. This online payment is completely secure. If the payment is validated, the order confirmation is displayed. Tickets are sent by e-mail to the address given by the purchaser as an attachment to the confirmation e-mail. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the details provided when ordering are correct.
- Once you have received the confirmation email and the e-ticket, print out the tickets or download them to your phone. Tickets will be checked at the start of the tour.
Article 7: Arrival / lateness
The customer must arrive on the day and at the time indicated at the time of registration. In the event of a late or delayed arrival, or a last-minute impediment, the customer must inform the Terra Volcana Tourist Office. Any services not consumed as a result of this delay will remain due and will not be reimbursed.
Article 8: Cancellation or request for refund
In the event of withdrawal or cancellation by the customer, no refund will be given.
8.1 Cancellation by the activity provider or the Tourist Office
In the event of cancellation by the activity provider or the Tourist Office, before the start of the service, the Tourist Office must inform the customer by any means at its disposal. Insufficient numbers of participants may be a valid reason for cancellation.
The Terra Volcana Tourist Office will reimburse the customer in full for the cancelled service within one month of receipt of the request for reimbursement.
8.2 Weather-related cancellations
Only the professional instructors are authorised to take the decision to cancel due to bad weather conditions that could endanger the safety of the participants. In this case, the activity will be cancelled and the conditions will be those mentioned in article 8.2.
Article 9: Insurance
The customer is responsible for all damage caused by him/her. The Terra Volcana Tourist Office has taken out Professional Civil Liability insurance with : ALLIANZ IARD, 1 COURS MICHELET, CS 30051, 92076 PARIS LA DÉFENSE, FRANCE
Article 10: Personal data
When placing an order, personal data is requested from the purchaser. L’Office de Tourisme Terra Volcana uses your data to ensure that the activity runs smoothly. The Tourist Office may contact you in the event of cancellation, for example. Terra Volcana Tourist Office may pass on your details (name and telephone number) to the provider of the activity you have booked. This information will only be used for the purposes of carrying out the activity.
By ticking one or both of the boxes below when ordering, you authorise Terra Volcana Tourist Office to store your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) of 27 April 2016 applicable on 25 May 2018:
– “I agree to my data being stored by Terra Volcana in order to receive personalised content”
– I would like to receive the Terra Volcana newsletter with special offers”.
If you do not tick them, your data will be destroyed once the service has ended.

Article 12: Adult / child image rights
During the activities and guided tours organised by Office de Tourisme Terra Volcana, you may be photographed in order to promote the activities and guided tours. These photos may therefore be used for advertising, commercial, digital and print purposes. By registering as an adult or by registering your child(ren) or grandchild(ren) for the activities or guided tours, you hereby grant Terra Volcana Tourist Office all rights to use the photographs for advertising, commercial, digital and publishing purposes, without time limit.
The Terra Volcana Tourist Office expressly refrains from using these photographs in any way that might infringe on your privacy or reputation.
