Châtel-Guyon: a charming spa resort

In the heart of the Auvergne region, at the gateway to the Limagne plain and at the foot of the Chaîne des Puys mountain range, Châtel-Guyon has been an emblematic destination for French spa towns for over two centuries. The resort is renowned for its magnesium-rich thermal water, its incredible architecture and its predominantly natural setting. Its identity has been forged around an indissociable triptych: thermalism and health, Belle-Epoque architecture and the generous nature of the Auvergne volcanoes.

 A lively spa resort

Throughout the year, Châtel-Guyon pulsates to the rhythm of numerous cultural and festive events that showcase its spa heritage and art of living. Visitors can take a spa tour to immerse themselves in the history and unique architecture of the resort, stroll through the weekly Sunday market to sample local produce or enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the summer night markets. Take advantage of your spa treatment to discover the unmissable Jazz aux Sources, the emblematic festival that gets the town swinging, as well as the rich and varied programme at the theatre.
