Between the Combrailles plateaux, the Chaîne des Puys and the Limagne plain, this region is a real treasure trove: water and stone in all their forms (architecture, sculpture, fountains and springs...).
This tour "At the gates of Riom" will take you from Mozac and its Cistercian abbey to Châtel-Guyon, a spa town with 12 springs.
Then you'll cross Gimeaux with its petrifying springs to reach Combronde, a wine-growing village.
Finally, on the last part of the route, you will encounter the first difficulties with the Côte des Ballages before arriving at Gour de Tazenat, an exceptional natural volcanic lake.
Approximately 3 hours at an average speed of 20 km/h.
